I am such a Tool...

...Or did I just go see Tool? That's right! Tonight was the most epic night ever! Went and saw my favorite band with my best friend. They played virtually all of my favorites songs. The set list in its entirety was:

- Third Eye
- Stinkfist
- Vicarious
- Intolerance
- Forty Six & 2
- The Patient
- Schism
- Lateralus
- Jambi
- Ænema

It was the coolest concert I've ever been to and probably the best I'll ever go to. I hope to get plenty more chances at it. Maybe next time we'll catch Maynard in something weird.

After a perfect show, I topped it off with a perfect last hour with my Hummingbird. She started out in kind of a "poopy" mood, but nothing a little Colton magic and some lyrics from a horrible band can't fix. Can't wait to see her within the course of 8 hours.

There's a rock. Pink sock.

Good night.

Plans for the weekend:

This weekend promises to be very eventful.

Tonight my Hummingbird and I are going to a reunion dinner for the cast of Exit the Body. It's been awhile since I've seen any of them. So before we get there, I plan on doing my video and getting my eyebrow turned into two eyebrows. Can't stand this stupid thing.

And if tonight isn't going to be awesome enough, tomorrow is the long awaited TOOL concert. Robert and I are going to see them at the Toyota Center at 8:00 PM. This is my favorite band and I shelled out $160 for these tickets. Tomorrow is going to be epic.

So now I'm going to finish my non-existent to-do list so that I can spend more time with my Hummingbird before dinner, tonight.

Summer well spent!

I just had one of the most amazing vacations ever. Never thought I'd enjoy camping so much, but I guess it helps when you have wi-fi and satellite TV.

So this year's trip (the first one at least) was at el Rio Frio. About 6 hours away from home and even the drive up here was great. Everything is great so long as I'm with my Hummingbird. We have had the wonderful pleasure of getting to sleep in the same bed... or air-mattress... for 5 days straight, now. It's been a blast hanging out here with her and her family. We've gone down the river twice in kayaks and to the swimming hole. I jumped off the cliff a bunch and used a rope swing, although I didn't enjoy one of the times it was used... yeah, my back still hurts from that.

I am sunburned, sadly, but with the daily use of liquid cacti I'll be fine, I'm sure. We're leaving tomorrow, which disappoints me. I've had so much fun with being here with her and her family. I really hope I get the same privilege next year and that I catch it on a longer stay.

Until next time,

Yes, I am alive...

It has been quite awhile since my last post. Just want to let my loyal readers (all 2 of them) that I am very much alive and I plan on utilizing this more.

Update on everything that's happened since last time:

I have finished my second semester of college with passing grades in all classes. Summer is going great. Working a bit more so that I can get some more money. That way I can spend more time doing out-of-home activities with my Hummingbird. Her birthday was 3 days ago and we spent as much time as we could together. Went to the Border Grill yesterday for a birthday lunch with her family and 2 mutual friends.

Insanity update:

I am currently on month 2 and I am almost done. Just 2 more weeks to go, however I am going to have to redo 2 full weeks to make up for the time I'm going to lose when I go on vacation.

And that's another thing, I am going to the Frio in 3 days. Can't wait either, because I get to spend 5 full days (sun-rise, sun-set) with my Hummingbird. This is going to be good funn. I love the watr and I love being anywhere out in the sun. We'll be staying in a cabin (complete with satellite and wi-fi) on an old pecan farm and it's gonna be a blast, I can tell.

Well that's all for now. Gonna get together with my love, later, to hang out for the night.

Until next time...
